I can’t believe we’re already a month into our summer break. My kiddos are loving having most of their days to spend playing, going on walks, and bike rides. While I’m trying to soak up all the extra time with them before the next school year starts, I quickly realized we have several pain points. Not knowing what to wear for a busy day, arguing over who had what color cup. Hearing “can I have a snack” every two seconds. (This post contains affiliate links. Enter these summer Amazon finds that have made things just a bit easier (so far). And if you’re reading this, you’re likely an overwhelmed mom, so we’re gonna start with the items that are just for you!
Summer Amazon Finds – The Easy Jumpsuit
This jumpsuit is not only super cute and comfortable, it also comes in several colors. The fabric is really nice too. The back cutout adds a nice style detail. I wear mine with a bralette, but you can easily layer a tank under for more coverage.
Summer Amazon Finds – Water Bottle Sling Bag
Up until this summer, my youngest rode in the stroller during our summer walks. This year she’s either riding her bike, or hopping like a frog down the sidewalk. So I don’t have storage to bring water, or any other essentials. Enter this water bottle sling bag. The main pouch is insulated and can hold my 40 oz tumbler with a handle. I can put my phone in the front pocket. I also typically keep Band-Aids, our pool key, and my earbud case in it. It also has a card holder and side pockets. I love carrying this on our walks, and it would be awesome for days of summer sports, playdates or whatever you have planned.
Summer Amazon Finds – Built-in Bra Racerback Tank
I’m pretty sure I’m going to buy this racerback tank with built-in bra in every color (and there are tons!). It has built in support with removable cups, nice stretch, and a v-neck. I realized all my tanks had transitioned to a high, round neck, and I needed a different neckline to layer with some of my other tops. I can’t wait to add more of these to my wardrobe!
Summer Amazon Finds – Customized Drink Name Bands
My kids were constantly arguing over who had the pink or the green cup every day. And I can barely remember where I put my phone, so you know I wasn’t any help. I found these customizable silicone cup/bottle bands and now there’s one less argument to break up during my day. Even better, you can pick the color, the font, and add custom text to them.
Summer Amazon Finds – Reusable Snack Containers
I’m pretty sure “Can I have a snack?” and “I’m hungry!” 10 minutes after breakfast, then every hour on the hour, will forever trigger my nervous system! I also dislike eating prepackaged snacks at home, just because it feels wasteful. But those are also the easiest things for my young kiddos to grab. I found these reusable divided snack containers, and they’ve been so useful! I’ll do different combinations of snacks that will actually keep my kids satisfied and put them in a bin in our fridge so they can grab them on their own so I can have a little sanity back.
Some of my kids’ favorite combos are pretzels and hummus, graham crackers, vanilla wafers or animal crackers with a greek yogurt/peanut butter dip, jerky or meat sticks with dried mango, and pretzels with cheese cubes and grapes.
Summer Amazon Finds – Stainless Steel Water Bottles
I wanted a water bottle my kids could easily bring with them on their adventures that was also affordable in case we left it somewhere, or inevitably dropped/dented/scratched them. These have been a pleasant surprise!
These are non-toxic, have a carrying handle, and both a twistable lid with spout, and a collapsible straw. They’re lightweight and really keep ice and drinks cold. They’re available in several colors as well as patterns. And, we haven’t had any leaks yet!
